hi guru have a c# system and want to redo it in vb.net. any help on how to convert the code to VB.net application

SharpDevelop has a built in converter. You will still need to re-write parts of the code though as the conversion is not perfect. On Tue, Nov 9, 2010 at 11:43 AM, nelson kinoti <kinotimutwiri@gmail.com>wrote:

Even before I answer, the question is WHY do you want to convert? On Tue, Nov 9, 2010 at 11:43 AM, nelson kinoti <kinotimutwiri@gmail.com>wrote:

I can tell you for a fact that statement is absolutely not true. VB.NET and C# have 99.9999% feature parity. Where there is a difference you will never notice unless you are doing some low level work On Tue, Nov 9, 2010 at 11:58 AM, nelson kinoti <kinotimutwiri@gmail.com>wrote:

True, VB.NET and C# are like twins. Only that C# is more highly regarded in some circles because of language preference. You don't need to convert. On Tue, Nov 9, 2010 at 12:01 PM, Rad! <conradakunga@gmail.com> wrote:

Besides, the client will using the binary, right? Which will run on the .NET platform right? How would they know if it C# or VB unless they see the code. On Tue, Nov 9, 2010 at 12:03 PM, Edwin Kaduki <kaduki@edwinkaduki.com>wrote:

Don't Waste your time converting from C# to VB.NET.You can spend that time adding a few more features to the application. On Tue, Nov 9, 2010 at 12:12 PM, Brian Ngure <brian@pixie.co.ke> wrote:
