Blackberry Z10 vs Samsung Galaxy S4

Hi Good people, A friend is stuck between 2 choices of going for a BlackBerry Z10 or for a Samsung Galaxy S4. Are there any BlackBerry Z10 users out there and do you have issues of battery? Would appreciate your opinion on the best between the two for a normal user who is constantly on mail and calls. Paul

Haven't used either but maybe this<http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/BlackBerry-Z10,Samsung-Galaxy-S4/phones/6599,7597>will help On Wed, Jul 10, 2013 at 3:40 PM, Paul Mbugua <plmbugua@gmail.com> wrote:

Haven't had any experience with the BB, but the S4's primary drain is the screen. Having reduced screen brightness to about 25% I was able to use it for 37hrs from full charge, with numerous calls/mails and always being connected to wi-fi in the office and at home. I believe it's possible to drag it further with further tweaks e.g. using EDGE instead of 3G etc With screen brightness at 100% the battery drains the next day in the morning. YMMV Another thing to consider is stability - I haven't had any hanging issues with this phone, given that I consider myself a pretty heavy user (youtube, mp3s, movie streaming via DLNA in my free time). It's now 2 weeks straight without a reboot and no slow behaviour. As a businessman/techie I'm satisfied with the S4. No complaints :) HTH On Wed, Jul 10, 2013 at 3:40 PM, Paul Mbugua <plmbugua@gmail.com> wrote:

I have both phones and I can confirm that one should not be confused between the two, they are worlds apart. The Galaxy S 4 is the better phone. If you need to maintain good battery off it, turn the gestures when not using them. The Z10 on the other hand also does good battery management, compared to what we have been used to at RIM, so it'really is not much of a compromise, just that the Galaxy S 4 has much more to offer. Then if they opt for it, they can proceed to read how-tos and FAQs about the Galaxy S 4 here [A PDF Document] http://buff.ly/12Zfvui Regards, Martin Gicheru | Editor at Techweez ww.techweez.com On Wed, Jul 10, 2013 at 5:05 PM, Haggai Nyang <haggai.nyang@gmail.com>wrote:
