Hallo guys, I have a domain that went out of reach and into recovery due to a client failing to pay in time. I have considered getting a new domain when they finally paid. Problem is, I cannot access phpmyadmin via cPanel, anyone know how I can get the database? -- Regards, Martin Gicheru|Business Development|Techweez Solutions Email ID: martin@techweez.com | Tel:254721906171 | Website: http://www.techweez.com | Skype ID: martingicheru | Twitter ID:martingicheru | Gtalk: martin@techweez.com

If you have SSH access to the host, and you know the database login credentials, just ssh into the machine and dump your database to a file, then ship it away. mysqldump -uDNUSERNAME -pDBPASS mydatabase > DBNAME.sql You can then keep DBNAME.sql for the future. -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I can't hear you -- I'm using the scrambler.

Will try finding out whether I got that within my reach, thanx Washington. On Fri, Jun 8, 2012 at 3:48 PM, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com>wrote:

Domain and cpanel/db are not usually related. If the domain goes down, you can always get access to the cpanel through the IP address http:/xx.xx.xx.xx/cpanel. But if your host dropped your account or database, you will not get them Regards 10rdmwesh --
