So I think this year is going to be a fast pace mover for tech developments in KE scene. However, I see a big problem of uptake and development. Infact for mobile developers, web developers this is an optimum year? My concern is that there is going to be confusion as to where one should be i.e web or mobile. If I & M have taken the Visa deal, expect other banks to follow with others and soon you have more e-payment gateways than needed. Mobile payment gateways are mostly in the pipeline or offer certain functionality. I suspect KICTB, Min of Info are also seeing the potential of these this year, spread out to over 2 years. The question is : In what area are you developing your skills? Mobile or Web? Are you ready for the demand? Just sharing some thots, I could very very wrong....
