Firstly, a big congrats on the achievement. According to the main page of the site, there are a total of 2381 Techies: - 976 Developer Techies - 685 Creative Techies - 720 Other Techies These are huge numbers and admirable. My question to the iHub comittee is that it seems now that it has settled, what are the plans to use the potential of talent to do things? I remember reading that iHub was for doers and so far, the ladies with the M-Farm are the only ones to have made a significant step forward. What about the 972 developer techies? Can the iHub Committee also use "If this is 2030, what would be the East African Information Age Icon of Engineering or Design that we will have created?" to start off a long term process? Some thots. Rgds.

@aki Thanks for the update...:-) There are a few things about iHub that I have never understood.... 1. Do I have to pay a fee to use the premises as an individual? 2. Do you have clear guidelines (publicly available) that indicate how one progresses from white > green > onwards? 3. If I want to run a short seminar/networking session at the premises, is that possible? (i.e. "For Hire") Claire. On 1/14/11, aki <aki275@gmail.com> wrote:

BTW, Just browsed their website: http://www.ihub.co.ke Are they aware some of the links do not work, towards the bottom of the page?

@DJ Claire. :-) I think Erik and others are committee members of iHub are on this list. Furthermore, it is also possible that at least 75% of skunkers are also members, so your queries should get prompt responses. I'm not a member yet, we are a few lone rangers on this list so unable to assist unfortunately. Rgds. On Fri, Jan 14, 2011 at 10:15 AM, Claire Njoki <clairenjoki@gmail.com>wrote:

Thanks @Gichingiri ... It is now getting clearer... Are there any plans of creating a Yellow zone, perhaps on the balcony? (it's OK if it rains since I always carry an umbrella) Claire. On 1/14/11, Gichingiri Kuria <gmail@gichingiri.com> wrote:
