It will be interesting to compare how the the above 2 products fair sales-wise when they start retailing later on this year. For the Sony PS4 it will be a classic test of whether incorporating consumer feedback in new products can better your product and indeed boost sales. The MS Xbox1 seems to dictate more on consumer perceptions leaving little freedom for the consumer. It's pretty simple where we are headed; Microsoft Xbox One will mostly have elite owners, hardcore gamers. The same sort of person who owns an apple product (no apologies for stereotyping) No doubt with the release videos and its features this console is worth every penny. But it is my belief that everything can be hacked, and Pirates will in the end have their way. There shall probably be sort of bitcoin backend mining infrastructure for pirated games infrastructure. PS4 since it is more affordable to hence more people will purchase and wish deep inside to own a kinect. This doesn't mean it will not have a good user experience.
