I've gone through the same thing and have faithfully kept all my Token smes to try and work it out on my own. So far all I've deduced is that topping up twice in the same month for the same value yields lower units on the second transaction. A friend has gone as far as concluding that he gets higher token values if he only reloads when it is on 20 units balance. In other words unstructured madness! And No, I am not affiliated with Kenya Power in anyway, earlier @Wash had a rant about people not taking initiative to glean information. KPLC has already posted the answer to this thread. A simple Google search will bring out the PDF below. The complaints on this thread can be solved by downloading this PDF and deducing the costs, after-all there should be sharp minds on this list, so we should expect more... really!!!
