Open Position for an ICT Manager

*Our client is looking to fill the position outlined below:* *Key Roles and Responsibilities *The ICT Manager will be responsible for the function’s objectives across the group / region / country, working closely with global, regional, local stakeholders to ensure that Upesi&Ngao Credit businesses have sufficient and appropriate coverage for our custody needs in non-presence countries and footprint markets. Working with the Operational Manager and ICT staff in other regional offices to provide effective IT systems, ensure implementation of IT standards and policies, and provide technology support and solutions to meet the needs of the organization. The ICT Manager will support the overall technology infrastructure for all branches including planning, implementation and SUPPORT of the software applications and hardware infrastructure that run operations. The ICT Manager will be involved in systems administration including: general computer support; upgrades; software installations; license management; server maintenance support; deployment of equipment;; end user support. S/he will be in charge of providing user training on common business applications and use of ICT systems. The ICT Manager will also be responsible for managing or contributing to various IT projects. This will include: assessment of Applications and technology; formulating and presenting solution options to the Operational Manager; advising on the equipment or software selection process; overseeing implementation of ICT systems and key project deliverables. Supported technologies include but are not limited to: Money Transfer Platforms, wired and wireless networks, storage systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows OS, MS Office suites, end user workstations, /laptops and various proprietary and commercial software applications and hardware. - *Risk Management* – ensure adherence to all the established standards associated with the selection of service providers and the on-going monitoring, managing and addressing of any risks associated with custody relationships (both 3rd party and Ngao’s footprint custodians). - Protect vulnerable networks, following detailed risk assessments. Reporting on deign, validation, acceptance testing and implementation of secure, networked communications across remote sites for the company. - Conduct due diligences on custody relationships in accordance to policies and procedures, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. - Reporting of findings/assessments to key stakeholders and make follow up actions to ensure closure of risk items in a timely manner. - Collaborate with businesses/stakeholders to ensure their custody requirements are met. - Support expansion plans across Wealth, PvB, FM and TB which requires custody services across the globe. - Support network expansion strategies, in alignment with established functional standards and assigned Key Performance Indicators, as well as group TB business objectives. - Participate and support senior level relationship management of financial institutions to ensure alignment of these provider relationships with Ngao’s strategic objectives. - Reviews of business continuity management (BCM) and IT disaster recovery planning (DRP) 1. COBIT|15027001|PCI DSS benchmarking 2. Ability to spearhead integrations. - System security review*:* 1. Infrastructure security reviews. 2. Database security risk and controls reviews i.e. Oracle, SQL. 3. Conducts detailed security reviews for key database (Oracle, MySQL and DB2) and active directories and advise anthem based on risk identified. 4. Business process risk &control reviews. 5. Pre and post implementation systems review. *Qualifications and Skills* - A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from a regionally accredited institution - Possess current CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification - At least 3 years experience of recent professional experience in IT risk management information security. - 1 or more years professional experience with current network security protocols, hardware and software - knowledge of MS SQL Server and Transact-SQL - Programming knowledge Preferably in Microsoft .Net. - Knowledge in Network infrastructure design. - knowledge in Cisco router and switch configuration - One or more conversant with the following firewalls: Checkpoint, CISCO, and FORTIGATE. - Ability to establish network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills - Effective communicator and negotiator - Ability to make strategies plans and decisions. - Excellent in strategy and understanding complex adaptive challenges and adjust and react as required in line with the company goals and objectives. - A individual with an innate drive to achieve high standards of risk and compliance management - Experience in handling servers and related access management control. - Ability to work independently to troubleshoot performs root cause analysis, identify and isolate - .providing service delivery to a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality IT risk assurance and information security services including preparing and reviewing work plans and actual work. - Achieving team and individual budgets and business plan/performance objectives. - Managing client relationships to ensure satisfactory delivery. - Network and system security. - Vulnerability assessment. - Penetration testing. - Web application security testing. - IT risk management. - Internal & external audit. - General computer controls. - System post implementation review. - C++, BASH, JAVA/Android programing. - Keeping leadership fully abreast on engagement deliverables and incorporating their inputs into work plans. - Think strategically about client needs by understanding their business and key risk involving with working with them - Monitor and supervise the team. - Provide training and performance feedback to staff. - Overseeing compliance with the firm risk, independence and Quality requirements in the delivery of engagement. - Participation in research and recommendation of improved infrastructure processes and technologies to include growth planning. - Work with service providers to ensure smooth operations. - Development and implementation of IT policies and manual documentation of processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. - Provide software and system troubleshooting and support. - Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and update operating systems and user applications and software patching. - Ensure compliance with the regulator are met - Ensure business information security comply with the changes in global trends.
