There is a guy who fixes this for 5K in�Parkland's� His name is Salim 0722708901 of �Almas electronics Diamond plaza. �Its a permanent fix. �I had mine fixed there and haven't had issues since. �The problem with the�x box360�is that the heat sinks are not ventilated and they are also quite small, so this issue is almost guaranteed on every 2nd generation xbox. � It also occurs if you have unstable electricity and well this is Kenya. The new xbox kinect could be better but the one available in Kenya needs too much TLC. What with towel wraps and what not, who has the time? @ Kingori, Just a minor correction, the xbox kinect is an interface just like the game pads. I think what you mean to say is the xbox360S (*S* meaning slim in certain circles). I believe you are very right wait and see what problems they will experience first but micro$oft claim that the slim version will not experience a similar problem with heating. The discussion of which console is better is going to go down like which linux distro is better. Gaming is really not a complex issue. Someone once told me that you get a console because of an exclusive game that interests you. In this scenarios * PS3* = God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, Uncharted, *Xbox360 *= Halo Reach, Mass Effect, Gears Of War, Forza MotorSport 3 The PS3 is better only becoz of 2 things; 1. Blueray player out of the box. 2. Availability of 3D games. The 360 was better because of the easily available soft mods and pirated games [?] (Sorry game developers). Just my thoughts.
