Hi all, I'd like to create an effect of a rotating wheel on a website, without using flash. Anyone know of some code I can use in javascript? -- Gichingiri Kuria _________________________________________ www.website.co.ke / www.sokoletu.co.ke

Won't it not be much easier to just create an animated GIF image? Something close to this : http://www.millingparts.com/gears.gif Just a thought.

That would be a last resort, I think there should be some jquery or mootools script that would be much faster and with a cleaner appearance. 2011/3/29 Frank <fraogongi@gmail.com>

Try jquery. Another effortless way to do it is to tell your visitors to rotate their screens. On Tue, Mar 29, 2011 at 2:02 PM, Gichingiri Kuria <gmail@gichingiri.com>wrote:

Have you checked on http://code.google.com/p/jqueryrotate/ You might find something on the examples page to start you off. Good luck

I saw it but none of the examples appear to be working. I tested with firefox and chrome. Are they displaying on your end? 2011/3/29 Frank <fraogongi@gmail.com>

Check a simple example using javascript here: http://www.zachstronaut.com/posts/2009/02/17/animate-css-transforms-firefox-... Somewhere in the middle there is a working demo. Hope this helps.

This page as well has been implemented with the same techniques I showed you earlier in the first link. http://www.eeslp.com/ Simply view/save the source and see how it has been implemented.
