I bought a safaricom modem to play around with smslib. I received the message below. I am certain I have not subscribed for this service. Is this prsp business real business or conmanship? Name: Number: 6616 Content: Dear Customer, this is a billing SMS of 10/= for your active membership on Penzi dating service on 5001 for MARCH 2013. Helpdesk: 0703012012. This sounds to me like a willing buyer willing seller basis, when you download their ringtones (when easily, you can feed ringtone songs via USB cable to your phone for free), you should also expect to keep them in business so that the service is available at a future date. (assuming the sim card was from your phone) Just accept the verdict in the terms (that you probably ticked "I have read terms and conditions" without reading a single line) and move on, no one conned you. ~Fish On Mon, Mar 25, 2013 at 1:42 PM, Peter Muchemi <pmuchemi@gmail.com> wrote:

on the same case 5525 started sending me links for downloading songs. each MT SMS goes with 30/= a stervice that i have never subscribed for. I tried their instructions for un-subscribing without success. i only got unsubscribed after taking the issue to Safaricom customer care. owners of these services are just too greedy. A safcom modem I only used to send sms to my phone via a java sample code in debug mode? They did the same to a family member. I wonder how many subscribers wonder why their credit disappear to. On 25 Mar 2013 14:20, "Peter Osotsi" <peter.osotsi@gmail.com> wrote:
