WebHost Solutions [Personal Experiences]

Hi Guys, Anyone who has had experience with any of the following Web-Host companies? 1. Just-Host 2. NTC Hosting 3. HostClear 4. BlueHost 5. Amazon Cloud Service More specifically am interested in the following aspects of Webhosting - We are doing an e-learning solution on Moodle and also a Web-Portal so the host has to be scalable in terms of Database Size, Traffic etc - Am also interested to know about support service experiences [24/7, Ticketing, Email, Chat] Any other Webhost company anyone would recommend?? Thanks, James W

Hi, I have used Hostgator for almost 5 years and their uptime is excellent and their support very good. They are not on your list, but to me, they are the best. I believe that a good number of web designers/hosting providers in Kenya actually use Hostgator fro their clients... Claire. On 2/12/10, James Wachira <jwaciira.lists@gmail.com> wrote:

BlueHost used to be 'kings' of the webhosting game but I would be wary of using them. If you have a support question that is slightly out of the ordinary (eg/ why aren't cron jobs working) - they went silent on me However, perhaps the most important reason why I moved all my sites from BlueHost is their attitude towards activists in general and their actions against Zimbabwean bloggers in particular: http://www.ethanzuckerman.com/blog/2009/02/13/bluehost-censors-zimbabwean-bl... -- Pamoja e:daudi.were@gmail.com <e%3Adaudi.were@gmail.com> skype: d.were

Use hostgator also becoz it's cheap (shared server). Can't complain about their service, they often reply within a day. I never tried the others you mentioned so can't compare On 2/12/10, Daudi Were <daudi.were@gmail.com> wrote:
