thought skunkworks uses mailman. wouldn't it have been better saying what your needs are and how mailman falls short? On Jul 26, 2012 11:39 AM, "Nicholas Odanga" <niodanga@gmail.com> wrote:

Mailman works perfectly. I don't understand why anyone has a problem with it. Hi Nicholas, There is Majordomo, Lyris, Ecartis (this is dead I think!) and many others that google can show you. Please tell me what is so disappointing with Mailman. I use it extensively. -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I can't hear you -- I'm using the scrambler.

Mailman actually has a lot of issues with multi-domain support on a single machine - there was a time I once nearly walked away but figured a work-a-around which was not very pleasant at that time, thinking of over 100 domain setup, so he who is without fault throw the first stone :-) ./Ok3ch On Thu, Jul 26, 2012 at 11:52 AM, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com> wrote:

Ok3ch, The guy did not say what was disappointing about Mailman and you are out of order to bring forth reasons on his behalf! :-))) Wacha ajisemee... Anyway, the only thing I know about having Mailman and multi-domain support on the same server is that you cannot use the same listname across the domains. The only way to beat that would be to run several different installations of Mailman on that host. However, in the absence of listname clashes, it's quite easy to use a single instance of Mailman to handle several domains. On Thu, Jul 26, 2012 at 12:34 PM, Okechukwu <okechukwu@gmail.com> wrote:
