
Hi i have been having an issue with safaricom (seems like the networks is on a safari ..pun intended) i have a full bar and i cant make calls and when i do i can only see to talk for 5 min the "Connection error" , text messages take forever ,service number enquiries "No network Coverage" ..but hey i can surf!! so what is going on? and please dont tell me to move from safaricom -- GG

Geoff, In that case, you may need to call Safaricom Care Centre and follow their bureaucracy and wait for the problem to be addressed. Why don't you post your exact location (even GPS Coords) so that they can pick it up? Networks use equipments that at some point either hangs or just act up. so when having a network related issue that doesnt affect all nodes in the network, say Your BTS/NodeB experiences congestion or looses synch and you cant call in your area. I think its 'nice' to just point that fact out. also now with the advent of 3G you will find yourself advantaged if u have a 3G capable phone to alternate technology whenever one fails. I remember on New years eve I was calling when everyone was gnashing their teeth. I know some members dont like hearing this but unfortunately only Queen Bee gives you that freedom on one line.
