OT : Is Queen Bee on this list?
Unconfirmed info says that the Queen Bee is going to start some Dev project at Strathmore? So is it finally intending to setup its own Dev department? Very good for KE devs and those who are in this line of business. I hope the info is correct. I may soon present the Queen Bee with an invoice ( just kidding ) since I wrote such a posting here on this list some weeks ago. Sometimes I read postings on the net and its like Dejavu..... Can anyone from Strathmore confirm the new development? To all devs with passions for the Queen Bee , hope your dreams and aspirations can now come true. Asante.

The Queen Bee, ladies and gents, is none other than our home grown, most innovative, most profitable, most dominating SAFARICOM. And mobile, web and ussd developers have been salvating ever since they hatched ideas to tap into the 10 million subs market. <Humor> = However, she has not been too friendly on such matters and infact been called all sorts of names in the NDA market. :-))))))) Now, safaricom is going to give developers two options : 1) Join up and develop for them on their next long term project, whether you are an individual or a company : Safaricom Applications Store ( via their portal ) 2) You better be ready for some dominating competition. Imelda, the developers market is getting pretty exciting because there already exists Nokia's OVI apps store and local Nokia representatives are very keen to see kenyan apps get online. Infact am quite surprised that until now only the 2 apps developed at UON are online despite the hype about Mobile Developers. And now Safaricom with its excellent innitiative.
