What's the difference between this version and chromium <http://www.chromium.org/>itself? Was using it before Win7 took me away from Fedora but didn't see any difference with google chrome. On Thu, Dec 10, 2009 at 12:10 PM, Gituma Nturibi <gnturibi@gmail.com> wrote:

Actually, I've not seen anything really outstanding about Google Chrome. Saidi (Apale) must have been right about why Google is pushing Chrome down the throats of everyone. -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "If you have nothing good to say about someone, just shut up!." -- Lucky Dube

For me integrating the search bar with the address bar is what sold me. There's no good reason why other browsers have them separate On Thu, Dec 10, 2009 at 2:27 PM, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com>wrote:

As a web developer, you have to love the "Inspect Element" feature. In Firefox, you have to add the firebug plugin for that. Plus I think it s faster than the others.

Ive always loved firebug with firefox, but if chrome has that feature by default the I may vuka On Thu, Dec 10, 2009 at 9:48 PM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:

Ok seriously that is not a reason to vuka. The default install of firefox on ubuntu 9.10 does the same thing and even brings up the specific page should the search yield a successful website. e.g on *firefox address bar type ketepa tea* However I am using chromium for aesthetics and for when I want to use google commands e.g *define: brian bla bla bla and *when visiting *https* pages there is less drama. I still insist only use a software/OS that boosts your productivity. Regards, -- Lusiola Brian Everyone has photographic memory, not everyone has film though.
