Yes it might be true in that aspect thus i tend to think in the technology ecosystem BBIT really does not play a big part its essential but not really important,i stand corrected though. On Mon, Jan 27, 2014 at 12:25 PM, Leonard Kore <leonardkore@gmail.com>wrote:

If it is a direct entry, thats a problem, but like most universities they do credit transfers if you passed through a recognised college( I do not know how they recognise them) or you start with Dip in IT and attain the BBIT. I tend to agree with Benjamin. So far the content in this degree is not focused as such. I say this because you'll do some Accounting (yet you can't be an accountant), then some Computers(not as much as the Bsc. Computer Science) and some Programming( Most of which you'll learn as you work) etc etc. However, all these are meant to spark an interest in the learner so that they can study the advanced stuff and maybe get relevant certificates to show their specialty. @Peter, Antony and Benjamin have answered it right. if it is direct entry C+ is required but indirect one can do certificate, then diploma or at times cert and then degree with bridging in maths or whatever is of compulsory in some field.
