Kenya’s ‘Entreprenuer Savannah’ to challenge India on IT ( Bottomline : Developing govts 2 tier dreams of creating non-specialised enterprenuers while giving away the cream of high tech work to Int'l Vendors )

Anyone read the similarity of the humor story I wrote about the *Village Kinyozi*? Remember ? Btw, the comments below are my amateur views so no one should stress themselves. This is the original story in the header about : http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/f99ee180-8d27-11e0-815d-00144feab49a,s01=1.ht... Please note PRESENCE of these words in the story ( and in context of the story ): - Marketing promotion agency ( Wow! I wonder what patent has been reserved by this agency and how it will fit into the KE Silicon Valley? ) - From Multi-Millionare tech kings ( LOL! Really, you mean they sold Servers and Vendor Equipment and made the millions? How much did Kenya lose overall in foreign exchange to purchase these Vendor equipment ) - Read what Mr Mwangi has to say = No comment. - Its very sad that even iHub is being used as a tool. 3000 innovators, really? And what are these achievemnets. Actually, why did the govt sector not give the iHub specialists/innovators the opportunity to design/implement/innovate e-Govt so as to spur the REAL iHUB dream, it would make us all proud. So finally, the Kenyan Tech Park will be a location for what? Bottomline is this, the subect line could not be more true. You decide. :-)

@Dennis, I've read the article and didn't have to register. Just google ' Kenya’s ‘Entreprenuer Savannah’ to challenge India on IT ' and click on the first result :-D -- Thanks and Regards, Erick Njenga Nyachwaya, M: +254-725-008-790 <http://www.facebook.com/ErickNjenga> <http://www.twitter.com/ErickNjenga>

On an even lighter note, SINCE we are going to build an *ENTREPRENUER SAVANNAH*, someone please let me know when the facility will become available. I'd like to reserve a space for something I remembered from my early years in Mombasa but have forgotten its complete sentences. *"Njugu Karanga ni moja kwa Peni...." , entreprenuership at its best. :-)*

Finally, one last humor... some of the old tunes from legends to bring out a point. :-) -A true classic legend in his own time. Louis Armstrong : When the Saints go Marching in Hurray! Yes, kenyan Entrepreneurs, Let's all sing along! Tap that foot and do the twist. Tell the world of ICT that we are coming to take over, based on entreprenuer skills. Yeah, great stuff! China, India, Middle East, Europe, watch out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyLjbMBpGDA Nice day, over and out. :-)
