Now this is what I call software solving real life problems! Out of curiosity, were you hijacked and they used your phone to extort mpesa from your relatives? @peter scam messages and calls are so common these days. The idea is to have crowd sourced database of numbers and messages the app updates from. Also currently included in the app suspicious call numbers or messages are automatically fowarded to 333, safaricoms fraud unit and blocked or deleted. You wont even realize it. Looks like interesting and useful software. If i were you Jacob i would approach safaricom and pitch them some sort of partnership so this application can have their official backing. Alternatively, open source the code. The reason i say this (and please believe i mean no offence) is in this day and age security and fraud are important considerations. Personally i must either know for a fact exactly what the app is doing (eg it does not quietly sambaza a shilling, upload ny contacts quietly, etc) or alternatively if detect mischief or suffer a loss from a bug there is some entity i can go after.
