
Hi, we have a number of users who are now runing on mac osx sytems. Jus t wondering if there is a network based backup tool. I thought symantec backup was applicable for mac systems but apparantely not How can i implement this?Any applications that you know may work? When it comes to "security", everything gets complex! There is BackupPC too and you'll say that is complex, yeah? Then look at Time Machine, except I don't know if it can use a network attached storage!! Also ask Apple themselves. You could use an online backup service like Mozy (http://mozy.com/) if you're looking for a "simple" solution the caveat being that you need a good connection to the service provider for the initial dump. ~gms
