While it is true that the companies involved are very happy right now, I am sure the new brand will have to give us subscribers more than just a new color and logo. Orange is getting a license now, Airtel said the physical roll out is in first quarter 2011, they just finished planning the roll out. I alos think airtel roll out was delayed by the buy out by airtel and the subsequent selling of their infrastructure to Bharti Airtel

@Dennis how long till Orange roll out 3G? is it instantaneous after getting the license ama there are other issues to be sorted. -- Thanks and Regards, Erick Njenga Nyachwaya, M: +254-725-008-790 <http://www.facebook.com/ErickNjenga> <http://www.twitter.com/ErickNjenga>

Orange has 15 sites on 3G currently, has said will roll out physically in first half 2011. From what Ghossein is saying, it appears they are now shifting more focus to GSM because data technology in CDMA is not advancing as fast as GSM
