OT: Selling Sony Home theater DAV-TZ715
I got a sony HT DAV-TZ715 <http://www.sony.co.id/product/dav-tz715>yesterday and I got into HDMI CEC issues my LG TV. I cannot get audio to go back to the HT. I want a LG DH6530T so if someone has it and is willing to exchange or is willing to buy the Sony am selling. Job, Thank God you posted this. Is it a known issue, i cant get audio from tv to the same HT, from a sony BX series tv... Is this a known issue? The input does not even register in the options on the HT.. Sent from my iPad

Mine does register under HDMI but my TV sends out Digital audio via optical which the HT doesn't have. I now want to stick to same brands to reduce my visit to google. I was going to say that audio from TV to HT is via optical. I've not yet encountered a setup where it goes via HDMI so this will be my first. Job, is it that someone with a Sony TV will get the sound into the Sony HT? Is that via HDMI? In a different case, I have a Dell Hybrid 140 with HDMI output. When I connect it to the TV, there is video but no sound!! I guess I have to connect the optical as well, somehow, but I always thought HDMI should carry both sound+picture (video)... Mine is connecting fine in addition I am using a decoder the set up is like this 1. Hdmi connection btn decoder and tv 2. Hdmi connection btn ht and tv 3.
