Hey guys, I think there must be some sort of failed upgrade from this airtell guys. As from yesterday, it has been hell for me.i couldnt make any calls whatsoever and there network was down. I have realized that yesterday, from where the network strength bars on my right hand side of the blackberry, it was all 3g and the bars were only 2 and just a few minutes gone its back to gsm and full bars 5 in number! Could this be an issue of failed upgrade or what?

Just got a text from Airtel saying the system up and running after the vandalised cables were restored. Was this a case of sabotage or a mere mistake by some road contractors? I'm thinking it louldy, why vandalize useless cables, whose economic value is a nought? And why didn't they let us know that that was the case? With their main 'rival', it would have been a court case, acccusations and counter accusations. I think we just hope this was a case of an error/mistake. When road contractors are expanding roads or excavating on roadsides they tend to do it carelessly, the results being cable cuts. If you pass by road works you will most likely find a telkom, KDN or Soliton or Access vehicle standing by to make sure that their cables are not cut. So i believe that airtel's cables may have been cut by some careless contractors. On Tue, May 31, 2011 at 8:35 AM, Solomon Mburu Kamau <solo.mburu@gmail.com>wrote:
