Online Payments with Local Debit cards
Skunks Is it me or have local banks just blocked online payments for local cards. All of a sudden my CFC and KCB cards are nto working with paypal or amazona and a number of other sites. Please advise. Kevin

Not aware of any issues since I haven't transacted online lately. I don't know how you guys do it, but I find it hard using any of my bank issued visa debit cards for online transactions. In terms of security you have little or no control over them and there is always a possibility of someone acquiring the card number and csv and then doing a number on your bank account. To that effect I got me a Safaricom mpesa prepay visa card that I only load when I need to make a purchase online, through its online portal I can even limit the maximum amount per transaction or lock and unlock the card at will.
