Is KICTB banking on Mobile and Web Platforms Development?

By hosting the upcoming Mobile event, is there a drive to establish some system or abilites to enable upcoming or established kenyan developers/companies to be involved? And what would be KICTB vision for Mobile development platform for 2010? Rgds. -- "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

Well I hope that this thread was not taken negatively or a criticism, thus lacked inputs. :-) I hope that the mobile developers are keeping their ears to the ground, listening to sound of e e-payment gateways etc coming through the KE scene. To me these e-payment gateways means = micro business setups and micro services on hand-held devices with payment automation. Are we now going to see menu driven displays for on-line stores or even text driven menus for services/products? Anyone to add. Obviously KICTB has stats on data for mobile development and sees it as part of the bigger picture? Or simply, what is the importance of hosting the Mobile event in terms of local development? Rgds.
