@Matere, what about the other hardware required to make a Pi fully functional? I am thinking of a monitor or TV. On Wed, Dec 18, 2013 at 6:58 AM, Crystal Watley Kigoni < crystal@voicesofafrica.org> wrote:

And I have an extra Pi powered USB hub<http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200963271001>, you are going to need this if you intend to connect more than 2 USB devices to the Pi, if not, you will end up with a number if interesting power related problems. The Hub is yours if you want it. And send us pics of that resource center! On Wed, Dec 18, 2013 at 8:59 AM, Peter Karunyu <pkarunyu@gmail.com> wrote:

Thanks Crystal for the response will inbox you. Guys The Rachael PI is a great product for students but we are now in a digital kenya. its time we developed our own content for our own people. Which is why the SHAMBA PI idea is so relevant. The big challenge in 2014 would be how to gain the trust of the many organizations that have invaluable content for farmers but cannot share it except from their websites On 12/18/13, Crystal Watley Kigoni <crystal@voicesofafrica.org> wrote:

Thanks Jeremy for the offer. Lets see how the first run goes. Id appreciate a stand alone computer separate from the five we already have. someone is selling an Intel celeron specs 1.7 to 1.8 GB Hard Disc Drive 17 inch at ksh 6000. I like it for the flat screen as it wont take much space. If we can have someone donate us this comp then the students can have a machine they can practice and play with and maybe learn coding. who knows.
