* I think this will be my last post on the software subject * On a comparison to the entire software industry practises, the only reason developer/coders want the DNA or Source Code of a propreitary software is not to improve it or even build better. It is to take part in the same financial cake that they will use to improve their own personal goals with the use of others DNA/Source code. They will use whatever is available to complain that proprietary software or systems do not perform upto public usage levels and that the public has the final say. Actually it turns out that the public have no understanding of Source code and cannot use it to improve how they look or feel, whether short or tall. When you purchase something, it allocates to you the usage parameters. It provides you with a complaint mechanism and also a feedback mechanism that is used to improve on features or problems. Developers/coders say you do not own it, this is such a bad thing but when they own it, they do nothing with it but find ways to get the public to use the same usage parameters. I can just imagine what would their reaction be if the Human race was a piece of the financial cake. Would they then ask for the Human DNA to create an alternative Human race or a better human race. No, they would still create the same humans but with uncomplete body or human functions. Would they use the opened Human DNA to create a super human? Never. Me thots. :-)
