Peeps I had an opportunity of encountering the usaga of Beba pay card.. I was told it is powered by google. Could someone here been have involved in the project and explain to me how a smart phone reads the card while in the pouch and outside the pouch?

Joseph, The smart phone uses an NFC (Near field communication) technology to read the cards. On Tue, Dec 10, 2013 at 10:52 AM, Joseph Maina <mainasoft00@gmail.com>wrote:

Only a select number of handset models in our market are NFC enabled. It's a relatively new target-market-oriented feature, so expect manufacturers to deliberately be choosy on the models that will have it. Tony.

And not all platforms, either. iPhone snubbed the technology. BB, Windows and Android do support it though On Tue, Dec 10, 2013 at 11:16 AM, Tony Likhanga <tlikhanga@gmail.com> wrote:
