The best ISP for my location
Hello good people, I need some good advice for a good ISP who can give me a reliable fibre connection at my office. I am located at Vision Plaza, Mombasa Road and was using Access Kenya and they have already proved to be very very worthless providers since i keep fighting their technicians over my bandwidth allocation. Please provide me with a list of ISPs I can use since my nature of business involves heavy uploading and downloading that needs a very good and reliable connection. Please advise. Thanks. Allan, Did you raise the issue with your account manager, if not escalating it to the Technical manager? Am sure they would give you assistance. I am paying for 1Mb/s dedicated and I used to have a 512Kb/s dedicated link which was much faster than what I have right now. I cannot download a 2GB file overnight with this link right now but I could download the same file size in less than 30 minutes with my previous connection yet we had about 35 users at any given time in the office previously and now I only have 4 users. U would need to have a 10mbps link to download 2GB in 30mins. My guess would be they sold you 512kbps but gave you an open pipe which they realized when you requested For an upgrade.
