If you get the drive working and that's a big if in modern drives, please avoid using Seagate, even if you can get the drive free of charge. They have buggy firmware that kill their drives way too often. You may likely end up in trouble again Google a bit on Seagate issues if you think I am being too unfair to them. Till they clean up their firmware, you should consider them broken whatever the deal they have to offer. William
