Guys, I would call Steve Muchai a very rich man, downloading that much data on Safaricom's connection. Advice, you can get that kind of speed for much less and based on the time you stated on your email, it doesnt seem to make so much of a difference if you were on orange which if you are a heavy user, I recommend due to fixed charges. Safaricom needs to come up with a fixed charge. David. 2009/7/29 Jamal Mohamed <jamal.worx@gmail.com>

I wish I was rich :( I just had to get the software when I had to get it, and had no choice but to use Safcom. Regards, Steve

Guys,
I would call Steve Muchai a very rich man, downloading that much data on Safaricom's connection. Advice, you can get that kind of speed for much less

@Muchai, You spent almost KES 10,000 to get that software and you say you are not rich? :-) -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "If you have nothing good to say about someone, just shut up!." -- Lucky Dube

Steve, if Wash is right and you spent that much, would you want to share that ISO with someone, probably for free :-) I am thinking, if we had a central physical repository of most of these big softwares somewhere in CBD, would that not save a lot of time, bandwidth and money in downloading them? Personally I've been looking for Mandriva 2009 DVD iso for some time now without much luck. 2009/7/29 Odhiambo ワシントン <odhiambo@gmail.com>

Will see how to upload it to the my.co.ke ftp server, if that exists :) BR, S

Thanks Steve. My idea though was for a physical repository, if its @ my.co.ke (which is actually a very good thing), you still have to pay to upload and I still have to pay to download it. On Wed, Jul 29, 2009 at 12:10 PM, Steve Muchai <smuchai@gmail.com> wrote:

Why I was bashed last year for alluding cost-wise KIXP helped is little. Asked "keep local traffic local but for whose [commercial] benefit?" :-(

Point : Not everyone pays for bandwidth - we have insiders !!! [?][?]

Hey, Someone give me contacts of the insiders. I spent a huge percentage of my income on bandwidth. David. On Fri, Jul 31, 2009 at 12:11 PM, ndungu stephen <ndungustephen@gmail.com>wrote:

What link is that ? Does it have anything to do with the iphone hack ? It seems to send us to an "outlook login mail" for remote out of office mail retrieval.
