Hi All, Is there anyone out there who knows whether it is possible to have two servers each running a kannel instance to connect to the SMSC of any / all GSM companies we have, currently im only able to have one connecting. Thanks James

It could be that your provider is allowing only one connection per account. On Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 4:56 PM, jamo njoroge <patjayke@gmail.com> wrote:

Yes it is, as you said it, each is called an instance. Find from the gsm providers how many instances you are allowed which im pretty sure is more than one. Also important point is to note the IP they allocate you since if you do not use the correct IP range in the second server it will not connect despite the instances allowed. Most MNO's allocate an individual server network to connect from for the local loops. I believe the second part could be your problem. ./TheMburu On Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 6:42 PM, Moses <mosenetk@gmail.com> wrote:
