of CCK aka CAK - 2.4G and 5G frequency (UBNT, MIKROTIK)

Hello People, Is there a document that states the frequency 2.4G and 5G (x-y) is free to use for private entity? Kind Regards, Wilson./

2.4GHz and 5.8GHz are, IIRC, unlicensed frequencies worldwide so you can just use them. It my small mind, I'd say unlicensed means the same thing as consumer... I know what you asked though, but I don't seem to have time to dig it from CA website:) On 15 April 2015 at 16:13, Thuo Wilson via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

As you wait for a definite answer, you may peruse through the CAK & the defunct CCK websites for any materials. Some time ago, I noticed that some of the docs on the CCK website had not been ported to the CAK website. - CAK ~~> http://ca.go.ke/ - CCK ~~> http://216.154.209.114/ <http://216.154.209.114/> Tony.

Specifically, have a look at : - http://ca.go.ke/index.php/frequency-spectrum - http://216.154.209.114/licensing/spectrum Tony

Thanks Tony, The one that come close is this and too ambiguous unless my eyes aren’t seeing properly. Is anyone from CCK here - they aren’t responding to emails? http://216.154.209.114/licensing/spectrum/guidelines_for_wireless.html He just want to deploy a p2p using mikrotik/ubnt but want clear-cut info on if CCK will hang them. Kind Regards, Wilson./
