Water Stains on Laptop Screen
Hello Skunks, I accidentally left my tap open and my house flooded. Unfortunately, my laptop ( which was inside a bag) was on the floor and soaked. Luckily, a specialist managed to dry it and it's working fine. My concern is the water stains that were left allover the screen which appear to be in the inside. Will the screen ever clear? Joseph, Yes I have had my house 'flooded' and my laptop partially submerged. After this about 2/3 the screen had water inside and behaved like those ASAHI wrist watches we used to play with back in the days when they came into contact with water. I left my laptop unused for about 2/3 weeks in an open position and lying sideways so the water can drain. I resumed using it after this time with the water still occupying about 1/2 the screen and it cleared itself out slowly after about a month.
