Google might be not be the default on the iphone....though as your topic suggest predictions. Lets wait and see. *http://tinyurl.com/y9sdesy* -- Lusiola Brian Everyone has photographic memory, not everyone has film though.

Apple will be launching their iSlate on 27th Jan. I hear also they will announce the iPhone OS 4.0, which is also the basis for the iSlate OS. Not sure about the iPhone 4G this year though. The networks are just not ready. I think only one network in some nordic country has been running trials on LTE. And I don't think Windows 7 has been a failure either, sometiems even MacTards give credit where it is due. I sue both Mac ad PC and the performance of Windows 7 in terms of application execution, shutdown and startup is now very close to Snow Leopard. Microsoft made a blunder with Vista but they seem to have learnt from their ways.

The iPhone 4G is not a GSM 4th Generation, but the 4th model of the iPhone after the iPhone, iPhone3G, and iPhone3Gs, so it has nothing to do with networks being ready since it will still be on a 3G network. - May still come in June/July though, since they have the upgrade the 3Gs after the Nexus came out. ./Ok3ch On Thu, Jan 21, 2010 at 10:23 AM, Philip Musyoki <pmusyoki@gmail.com> wrote:

Interesting. I agree with most but the following; - iSlate is not going to take over from the Kindle. Kindle has had several years' head start and they seem to have gotten it right from both the device perspective, the marketing perspective, the price perspective and deals with publishers - iPad is not going to take over anything. The Play Station, the Wii and the XBox already have too much traction - Let's be real. In no way shape or form can Windows 7 be considered a failure. I was thinking if they made the iSlate (or whatever it will be called) and put in Snow Leopard with touch support instead of the iPhone OS that would be a killer device!
