PHP and Javascript are my preferences, with a particular liking for ExtJS. I'm working on a Perl-based project on parallel port I/O programming. I'm new to Perl but from my initial analysis it looks pretty easy to get into. I have 2 boxes running fedora all set up a few mins ago and ready to ssh into and code...I think I'll do a writeup on how to do it once I'm through! It seems I'll have to create some small circuits to integrate it with the target system, which is pretty much analog. For those who are wondering, it's some kind of security system for a client - that's all I can say for now.
