I want to set up a desk for a colleague next to another but the challenge is that there is only one port. I am only in that space temprarily and therefore have to get a more temporary solution than creating a port. Is there a splitter or something like that I can use? Al Kags, Get 2 splitters from Coast data museum hill centre.Put one splitter on the outlet side and the other one on the switch side.These will split the 8 pairs into 2 sets with the right pinouts capable to use the network. i am not sure of the cost but call there and talk to George or any1 else can help there.
