Hi techies, Google has launched a new service called 'Me on the web' that assists you to control your privacy on Google search. So while googling myself, I came across this link http://lists.my.co.ke/pipermail/skunkworks/attachments/20100519/714ba288/att... exposes my email address to email harvesters for spamming. So I'm now wondering whether there is a way that pipermail [isn't that what you call this web app that runs the list?] could be tweaked to reformat email addresses, or obscure part of the address. I know you're probably wondering why I don't adjust 'Me on the Web' settings on my Google dashboard. I think it would also be good if the mod(s) did something from the list's end. Prevention is stil better than cure, I guess. Or is it not? Me.
