I have just watched on KBC clips of RoboCon 2010, a robotics conference that took place at the Bomas of Kenya sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Eduction alongside the Japanese government. How did we miss the heads up of that event on skunks?
From the looks for it there were amazing solutions on display, that was one impressive show ..

RoboCON meaning robotics contest was held at Bomas of Kenya early this year. The last one was actually the finals for the '09/'10 while the previous was the Nairobi Preliminary round. I actually did the article for the previous one (afrigadget) but didn't have time to cover the final. Same happened to the 3rd Tandaa symposium @ iLab, i was lucky to hear about it just before the day it happened. The skunks blog seems to have a section for events, maybe we should put it to better use
