@bullut both hardware and software... is it wise if you do not have proper server to virtualize the server environment and backup snapshots regularly? because alternatively i can convert one workstation. core i3, add up to 8gb ram and virtualize the servers. @mabey how much did you buy your server? This is very small a requirement to go for a server grade machine, especially if configured on Linux - Get a good mid-size desktop machine for this ./Ok3ch On Wed, Sep 25, 2013 at 8:24 AM, Tusker 21 <tusker212@gmail.com> wrote:

What do you mean by manage 10 users and act as an application server? I feel like offices these days with fewer than 50 users don't need servers in the physical space and instead should just deploy whatever they need on the Internet. Ideally, just use Google Apps for email and doc sharing and only if you have lots of big shared files, consider getting a small NAS or something that backs to a cloud storage service. -- Kili.io - OpenStack for Africa: kili.io Musings: twitter.com/varud <https://twitter.com/varud> About Adam: www.linkedin.com/in/adamcnelson On Wed, Sep 25, 2013 at 11:03 AM, Okechukwu <okechukwu@gmail.com> wrote:

As Adam says consider a NAS , storage and backups are prime in any environment , so u can do server + NAS , or hosted services + NAS . On Wed, Sep 25, 2013 at 11:08 AM, Adam Nelson <adam@varud.com> wrote:
