Alternatively if you have the USRP2 with the right daughter boards then you are well on your way to doing some really cool stuff. -ty

Managed to set up an full GSM implementation on OpenBTS, live traffic capture (downlink though cuz of the frequency hopping challenge and the native USRP bogus clock).
