The fact that we are unable to maintain basic infrastructural like roads makes me terrified to think that the same fellows will be in charge of maintaining a nuclear facility On Mon, Jan 9, 2012 at 11:57 AM, Brian Ngure <brian@pixie.co.ke> wrote:

Do you believe that power will be cheap even with 10 reactors HERE and cheap source of Fuel From Kinango/msambweni? IMO ... power wont be cheap not in KE. Have u seen how internet has been cheap with 3 undersea cables! I think nuclear power will not change our way of thinking, its just another channel of investment, another grand IPO and the list is endless. New tarrifs will be introduced to your bill to bring it to around the same figure and the waste will be stolen in transit or the designate disposal areas grabbed and your children playing around. Well, it doesn't pay to be negative only that the algo' of our thinking can only extrapolated to make deductions of the future. If you save the living environment, the biodiversity that we have left, you will also automatically save the physical environment, too. But If you only save the physical environment, you will ultimately lose both.
1) Don’t drive species to extinction
2) Don’t destroy a habitat that species rely on.
3) Don’t change the climate in ways that will result in the above.
