I have been seeing a lot of threads based on getting MPESA for Paypal and I am just curious as to what gap/problem there is. Is it: 1. Amount of time to get Paypal processed by Equity is too long? 2. Exchange rates offered are not competitive? 3. Add problem not mentioned in 1 and 2 above And how much transaction fee do you normally pay to get your request handled?

For me it is the exchange rates. Banks always have a witty way of explaining what exchange rates they used despite all other sources having better rates. When you transfer funds to a fellow skunk one incurs almost zero costs except the MPESA charges which are negligible. If the skunk happens to be in the vicinity you meet and take chai/coffee/beer instead of giving the coins to Queen Bee and you network while at it.

For me the most frustrating thing is how long it takes to get the cash...8 days the 1st and last time I used it Like now I need to change $20 on paypal to MPESA. Anyone?
