@steve unfortunately true, the obituary/memorial/tribute sites i'm finding require that one must register/login to contribute :(. Not a good design/business decision. Any suggestion on some better service? Correct me if i'm wrong, i think i remember you asking about the existence of such a local service, ci? i still think it is a good idea. @all at the risk of an outburst :) or display of apparent ignorance :D, i'll give my opinion. I love my country. I have had the fortune of travelling and seeing what other countries are like and meeting the people. And I still want to come back home. Even more, i want to make home even better and so it pains me to think of our leaders and it makes me wonder don't our leaders at the very least feel any envy of the other leaders and their territories? My biggest fear is that we are becoming less and less patriotic. A report in the Star/Kiss FM indicates that 22% of Kenyans do not love their country. That scares me! Our leadership has failed us, ok. But one way to influence change is role modelling. I believe that Michuki presents us with plenty we can learn from, not just as a leader but as a business man as well. Another thing is that of identity first and secondly of aligning government policies with business/entrepreneurial methods and best practices. I think one of the strongest supporting factor for China and US of A (that's what they call themselves, and proudly so) is those two elements. They have a strong identity and pride in their own and they apply business principles not just blind governance. Social/National identity can be one great motivator for positive action. So, yes I cry for us if we cannot see what we have lost, if we forget what he has embodied and tried to teach us, if we cannot find pride in our nationality, if we fight to keep our tunnel vision. My takeaway for you from this is simply that; patriotism and influencing change.
