Guys I have an engineering/physics query, I have noted that in the morning on Mombasa road, coming towards town, somewhere at South C near the ICC church and the river, the car radio usually loses its signals, I know it could be due to the nearby KPLC transformers but I cant really explain why and its been bothering me. Or it could be the church. Both locations seem to be near some KPLC high voltage thingy, AND a church. Could it be possible that strong spirit activity going on inside the church is interfering with the radio frequencies. Hi , The WiMax band (2.5 GHz, 3.5GHz and the license free ISM band 5.8GHz )are way beyond the band used for FM transmission ( 88 to 108 MHz) and simple wave theory shows that they cannot interfere with each other and cause the outage.
