Hello Skunks, Since the Huawei E1820 modem (which I already have) does HSUPA data service of up to 5.76 and HSDPA data service of up to 21.6 Mbps, which I suppose is what the much publicized Orange network will do, and given that the E1820 is unlocked by default, am I right in my thinking that for me to use the Orange network, I really did not have to buy their ZTE (I am guessing their is a ZTE MF668 Modem or equiv) modem, but only buy a GSM SIM Card from them in order to use their 3G network?? If yes, and I am gonna test it as soon as I land back in NBI, then I must be having a modem at hand to sell - at cost KES 3.5k) :-) -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I can't hear you -- I'm using the scrambler. I think your thinking is the right type of thinking. I can't think of nay technical reaso why it shouldn't work. On Sun, Aug 28, 2011 at 4:33 PM, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com>wrote:

i thought Orange was HSPA+ http://comm.ae/2011/06/24/telkom-kenya-looking-to-launch-hspa-in-july/

And what technology does QB use? I was thinking (vaguely then) that both are 3G ... On Tue, Aug 30, 2011 at 01:32, Vincent Wayodi <wayodi@gmail.com> wrote:
