You guys must be from sales and marketing. Have you given it a thought really? Most likely the systems are down as safcom is reconfiguring it's billing. Remember people can now buy a 100 bob airtime card and above and get to call for 2 bob. So they have to adjust that so that the same can happen when you buy airtime using MPESA. Give the technical guys a chance. They'll get it working. So stop whining already. 2 cents.

terms and conditions suggest that Mpesa top ups will be billed according to last card top up

Sospeter, I would want to assume MPESA is a separate system from the billing one. How would reconfiguring the billing sys affect MPESA (unless its a subsystem of MPESA). IMHO, the billing system at the very basic level receives/uses the credit value for a subscriber as one of the parameters to determine its functions, and specifically the airtime a subscriber is entailed to...
