Have you asked yourself why the International Piracy Police dont even venture into this market? Coz its neglibigle. Local producers suffer but the truth is , someone who buys pirated copies was highly unlikely to pay the price even if the thing was not available. Kenyans didnt and still dont buy music (especially local) despite prices dropping like crazy. Its cultural. However, my experience is, when something is of high quality it will be bought off the shelves. And when that happens, the likelyhood of piracy is much lower.
