Am on the same machine and on chrome too but I see no problem apart from the shockwave flash being abit unstable. It sometimes hogs resources but not so much to cause a hang.

Hi All,
Is it just me, or Chrome on OSX sucks! It chews all resources and brings the machine down even though this is a 2011 Macbook Pro. Maybe there was an update coz I have used it for a while but looks like its now just grinding the laptop to a halt. Anyone experiencing such?

You may have suspended it for around a month without restarting. In my experience, after 20 to 30 days, OSX will beach ball a lot. Heck even a terminal console seen to bring it down at that point. Look at it once and seems to suffer from memory segmentation :( On restarting, everything get faster again. You can guess how I feel about as I hate restarting. William

i disabled all add ons on my chrome and noticed a significant increase in performance, Nowadays I only have one browser running at a time. It seems ffox, safari and chrome running (i test stuff i work on live) brings me down in no time. On Tue, Sep 25, 2012 at 5:16 PM, William Muriithi < william.muriithi@gmail.com> wrote:
