Tackling Mountains as much as code!

When they say programmers don't have a life, what do they normally mean? One skunk appears to be hell bent on proving them wrong! Steve Obbayi is going for the ultimate in mountain climbing - his eyes set in scaling Mt. Everest next month. He's already conquered Mt. Kenya and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Isn't that actually 'having a life '?? Wishing you all the best in this pro-venture, Steve. One your shoulders is the Kenyan flag, and the lives of the Kenyan coders.

Do you mean Mt. Everest the MMORPG? Lol. But seriously, congratulations and all the best, Steve. And here's the story in the Daily Nation: <http://www.nation.co.ke/news/Dreamer-who-hopes-to-conquer-Everest/-/1056/2245946/-/3upql6z/-/index.html>.

Oh oh! I guess the secret's out of the bag.. oh well. Yeah so next week I leave for Mt. Everest for the next 60 days, been preparing for past two years [quietly of course]. Huge challenge both physically and mentally and actually as @Wash puts it, one of the things I want to show is techies can still conquer away from gadgets and code. I will be making a "More official" mention on this list as I will be going dark for about for days working on last minute logistics, checking our gear and satellite equipment. I will tell more around Thursday/Friday.
